In 1964, Buffalo's Anchor Bar became famous for creating one of the world's favorite meals. Teressa Bellissimo served a group of hungry late-night patrons scrap portions of chicken (wings) that had been deep fried and flavored with a secret sauce. The dish was a hit and the chicken wing craze spread across the world.
